Election issues

Today I voted for both myself and MrT (he's away). Interestingly we do not agree on politics so I had to do his ballot for a bunch of people who I think will ruin this country but that's another matter - his vote = his choice.

I will however lose all hope if I hear one more of the (allegedly clever) people with whom I work announce that they're going to vote but they don't know anything about the parties or their policies. I do agree that as many people should vote as possible but if you're going to do it based on a couple of headlines is it worth it? I guess that living in a country where everyone can vote means that even those who don't really care can just tick any box.
