Old Boss

I managed to see Old Boss this morning and I'm so glad that I did. He's doing really well and although they've come to terms that his cancer is not curable it looks like the original prognosis might have been a major underestimation. Originally 6 months was the outlook but that was over 6 months ago and the latest CT shows little change which is hopeful. The treatment sounds grim (4g of tablets a day - I think that kind of mass is worse for a chemist who usually considers 500mg large scale!).

We chatted for over and hour and he was really happy to see me which was nice. The kids sound like they're coping well too which isn't really surprising as they're pretty awesome kids.
